Operations Manager, In Grace Yoga Therapy
Location: Marietta, GA
Reports to: Founder & CEO – Asha Edouard
Status: Part-Time

Position Summary
In Grace Yoga Therapy is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and spiritually grounded Operations Manager to support the Founder in overseeing daily business functions. This role is essential to the smooth execution of staff coordination, client care, service delivery, internal systems, and performance tracking. The ideal candidate will be aligned with the heart of the business – rooted in womb wellness, trauma-informed care, and holistic healing – while also possessing excellent organizational and administrative skills.
Core Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
1. Studio Operations & Client Flow
Manage all client appointments and bookings via the studio calendar system
Ensure seamless room transitions, time buffers, and practitioner readiness
Oversee reception and sales floor flow, including POS transactions
2. Staff & Culture Management
Supervise and support team members, practitioners, and interns
Enforce a positive, professional employee culture with warmth and clear boundaries
Run weekly or bi-weekly staff meetings and provide summary notes
Address lateness, misalignment, or conduct issues with accountability and clarity
Create and distribute daily/weekly task lists and hold staff accountable
3. Reports & Metrics
Generate weekly and monthly operations reports including:
Client attendance
Service fulfillment
Team performance
Revenue and expense tracking in coordination with the finance team
Prepare dashboards or summary documents for review by the Founder
4. Operations & Administration
Maintain internal SOPs, workflows, and documentation of service protocols
Coordinate logistics for events, retreats, workshops, and training programs
Ensure inventory is stocked (herbs, bath supplies, client kits, etc.)
Support fulfillment of mailings, package deliveries, and client gifting
5. Customer Experience
Handle client feedback and resolve small issues before they escalate
Qualifications:
At least 3+ years managing a team, running shop operations, or leading within a wellness space
Skilled in operations systems, scheduling tools, POS platforms, and basic reporting
Comfortable working in a spiritually diverse environment (e.g., womb healing, Reiki, ceremony)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to identify trends, spot internal issues, and offer practical solutions
Deeply accountable, consistent, and a proactive communicator
Honesty, maturity, and alignment with sacred feminine leadership

About In Grace Yoga Therapy
In Grace Yoga Therapy (IGYT) is a holistic wellness collective dedicated to trauma-informed, culturally rooted birth and postpartum care for women of color. Through our Birth Collective, Womb Spa, and educational programs, we honor ancestral practices while bridging them with modern wellness and clinical understanding. Our mission is to nurture families through every stage of womanhood — womb, birth, and beyond.
Position Overview
The Doula Assistant position is designed for emerging doulas seeking mentorship and real-world experience. This is an entry-level, supportive role that works directly under the Lead / Full Spectrum Doulas of In Grace Yoga Therapy.
Doula Assistants do not have their own family caseloads — instead, they serve as essential support for Lead Doulas by assisting, shadowing, and coordinating client care. This role offers hands-on learning in holistic birthwork, postpartum healing, and ceremonial care across NYC and GA.
Key Responsibilities
Assist Lead Doulas during prenatal visits, births, postpartum care, and sacred ceremonies.
Support setup and breakdown of ceremonies such as postpartum baths, closing-of-the-bones rituals, and healing circles.
Coordinate client appointments, supplies, and communication on behalf of the Lead Doula.
Shadow Lead Doulas and actively learn about birth attendance, postpartum support, and holistic care.
Provide warm, hands-on physical and emotional support to mothers and families.
Maintain sacred, organized, and energetically balanced spaces during visits and events.
Participate in team meetings, trainings, and Birth Collective gatherings as an integral part of the IGYT team.
Contribute ideas for growth, structure, and creative development within the collective.
Qualifications
Passion for birthwork, postpartum care, and holistic womb wellness.
Prior experience working with Black and multicultural communities.
Personable, respectful, and able to integrate seamlessly into a collaborative team.
Highly intuitive, follows direction with ease, and thrives in fast-paced environments.
Reliable, organized, and self-motivated with strong communication skills.
Quick learner who can anticipate needs and respond gracefully under pressure.
Interest in herbal healing or traditional care practices is encouraged.
